Every hero has their own origin story, which may be written as a novel, comic book, parchment paper, or carved in stone. No alleyways, doomed planet, or magical ring chose me to be the one writing this blog. I am originally from Puerto Rico, and Spanish is my native tongue. I grew up watching a lot of local TV and many 70's reruns of "El Chavo del Ocho" and "El Chapulín Colorado," along with a lot of Scooby Doo, The Simpsons, and of course, anime that made it to either Telemundo or WAPA TV.

I have lived in both metropolitan and island areas of Puerto Rico. During my childhood, I engaged in a lot of "Theater of the Mind" play with my cousins at Grandma's house. Additionally, I was heavily involved in school theater from elementary to high school. We played games like cops vs bandits, Batman, and other weird games. Then video games entered my life, and I have been consuming a lot of them ever since, from NES, Sega Genesis, Super Nintendo, PlayStation 1-4, Xbox, to PC gaming. As a child and teenager, I immersed myself in RPGs like Final Fantasy and Pokémon.

Fast forward to 2016. I started working for a call center and met a few people who played a game called Dungeons and Dragons. This was a game I wasn't aware of during my time on the island, but as a kid, I did read choose-your-own-adventure books. Curious, I asked my friend Michael, "Hey, can I join?" He had me recruit more players, and after finding a group, we built our characters and embarked on adventures. The first campaign I jumped into was "The Hoard of the Dragon Queen," but it fell through after reaching chapter 4. I stepped in as the game master and have been one ever since.

I have run various games, including D&D 5e, Powered by The Apocalypse, and many Old School Revivals games. I love reading about other game systems and try to run them as long as I can find players who dares to join my table! I will try to give them a fun experience. Currently, I run my games at a local gaming bar called "Bone Sack Cider" located in 10th St. Cloud, Florida. I run Rogueland by Cavern of Heresy, MÖRK BORG/Pirate Borg, Liminal Horror by Goblin Archives and hopefully Index Card RPG in the future.

I am Victor, my friends call me Vikko, and I'm here to share my point of view on this hobby and make some new friends along the way.
